Who Is a Good Candidate for Invisalign®? Can anyone be treated with this procedure?
Dr. Shalit explains: “To begin with, candidates must have all of their permanent teeth to be treated with Invisalign®. Once this is ascertained than I can determine whether Invisalign® is a good option to correct their teeth. It’s important for a dentist to have experience so that a proper evaluation can be done. Each case is of course different.
For complicated cases which require a lot of movement, I would generally recommend metal braces. In some instances I might do the same for a case which requires moderate movement. When looking at the patient I know which is the best option for optimum results.”
